The maestro Andrés Batista has ample experience as a concert and accompanying guitar player with great stars of dance such as Carmen Amaya, Antonio 'El Farruco', Vicente Escudero, María Márquez, Ana Mercedes and Antonio Español, 'La Singla'… In cante he has worked with Fernando 'El Terremoto', Antonio 'El Chocolate', Roque 'Jarrito', José Salazar, Juan Cantero among others.
Among the awards received are National Guitar Award, the Medal of Honour for the World Folk Festival in Italy, a Golden Record from Radio Madrid and Best Performer Award at the German TV and Radio Award in Frankfurt.
