One day the Nobel prize for literature Gabriel García Márquez : "When Lebrijano sings water gets wet".
Now, after 50 years in his profession, the master from Lebrija wants to thank Marquez for such poetic phrase by dedicating his album number 35 to the immense and lauded work of the Columbian author.
The lyrics have been adapted by Casto Márquez, with the approval of "Gabo" himself, based on works as famous as "One hundred years of solitude", "No one writes to the Colonel " or "Innocent Erendira and other stories ".
The production and musical composition are by Pedro and David Peña "Dorantes", nephews of the vocalist.
A great piece in which Lebrijano once again soaks water in feeling and song.

acerca del disco del lebrijano
Es muy bueno que se dé esta integración, entre la literatura de Gabo y el cante flamenco. Es una forma muy valiosa de acercarse al Nóbel.Un espacio lúdico para conocer más, tanto al cantaor como al escritor.

mi pensamiento sobre el disco # 35 del lebrijano
Una magnífica oportunidad para integrar la cultura española con la literatura colombiana, concretamente la de Gabo. Un gran aporte a la paz y al arte. Bien decía un aficionado, "el flamenco es una sabiduría cantada que sólo saben los gitanos, las rosas y una poca gente más"
