At last on DVD two of the most important flamenco films in Spanish cinema!

Pack of 2 DVDs includes "Sevillanas" and "Flamenco", two documentary films by Carlos Saura on the world of flamenco.

Sevillanas (1992)
Length: 55 minutes.
Directed by: Carlos Saura
Script: Carlos Saura
Directed by musical: Manolo Sanlúcar
Choreography: Matilde Coral
Director of photography: José L. Alcaine

"Sevillanas" is a tribute to the dance and vocals of this popular flamenco form. From the most popular form of the genre to the most traditional, including all of its modalities (corraleras, rocieras, académicas, bíblicas...) played, sung and danced to.

Saura brought together the greatest musical talents for this film: Manolo Sanlúcar, Matilde Coral, Pareja Obregón, Paco de Lucía, Camarón de la Isla, Merche Esmeralda, Lola Flores, Rocío Jurado, Manuela Carrasco, Paco Toronjo... Very plastic with the total fushion of music and image. The artists and their art monopolise this film that is considered a total classic.

Flamenco (1995)
Length: 100 minutes
Directed by: Carlos Saura
Script: Carlos Saura
photography: Vittorio Storaro
Music: Isidro Muñoz

The film that brought flamenco’s light to the world.
