Released in the year when he married Dolores Montoya, La Chispa. The title track, the tango called Rosamaría, won over José el Francés when he was ten years old and since then, the genius from the island became his main reference, an example to be followed. On guitar, Paco de Lucía, with whom he had already become inseparable, alongside the latter's brother Ramón de Algeciras. Most of the tracks on the record were composed by Antonio Sánchez, the father of the two guitarists, who discovered Camarón and united him with his son.
The record includes their second canastera, an original creation by Paco de Lucía and Camarón, as well as some sevillanas featuring an electric bass and flute.
This edition features the original illustrations and includes a booklet which features photographs from the period, commentary by Faustino Nuñez and José Manuel Gamboa and the lyrics and musical scores of the songs in the record.
