Siguiriyas, martinetes and livianas, all of which are different palos (forms), but they share the same meter. This is why they are featured in the same CD, to make it easier to learn the different styles, and to tell them apart. The second compact disc includes slow, medium-speed and fast escobillas (a section of the dance that includes the zapateado, a rhythmic combination of sounds made by stepping with the toe, sole and heel of the foot). Performers: Eva “La Yerbabuena” (dancing), Enrique Soto (singing), Paco Jarana (guitar) and Manuel Salado (percussion and rhythmic hand clapping).
